So this is my family. My husband, Giorgi (George), is from the Republic of Georgia. He has been in the U.S. since 1999. Just this month (March) he became an American citizen. We took this picture right after the ceremony. Our little man is also Giorgi, but we call him Gia. He just turned five. I'm back in Carmi since December taking care of my Dad full-time. He has Alzheimer's. We have a house here, but Gia and I are staying with Mom and Dad since it's easier that way. George had to stay in Atlanta because of the limited employment opportunities here. I lived in Atlanta for twenty years - well, since college. For about fifteen of those years I was an Executive Recruiter in the food industry. I'm looking foward to seeing everyone!
